Shields of Faith is a Ministry minded gospel group that is a duet out of Lafayette,Ga.(Formerly Flintstone,Ga) Consisting of husband and wife Josh and Dana Shields and their son Colton. We have traveled and sang for 7 years and we have been married for 18 years. Our son Colton age 15, travels and helps us with our sound and equipment, but the singing bug hasn't hit him yet. We have just finished our 3rd c.d. project entitled "In the Valley" with Chapel Valley Studio that was released on April 12th,2012.
In May of 2011, Shields of Faith was nominated in the Top 5 for "New Excelling Artist" at the SGM Fan Fair Awards in Pigeon Forge, Tn. Josh's testimony of deliverance from drug addition and a troubled past brings hope to both the believer and the sinner to accept Christ. In todays time folks are looking for hope and thats what Shields of Faith is all about. Josh has written the majority of the songs that we sing along with other songs that were written by Dana as well. Dana has Crohns disease and has had 6 surgeries in the last 2 years, but stands firm to encourage others that we never walk alone. God has blessed Shields of Faith with songs written by His own Hand from our hearts. We are humbly honored to share the message of hope of the Gospel through song.
